A person using a BMX bicycle stabbed 11 folks in a collection of apparently random assaults alongside an Albuquerque, New Mexico, boulevard, police reported.

“There doesn’t appear to be any rhyme or cause at this level,” Gilbert Gallegos of the Albuquerque Police Division instructed KRQE.

The bicycle owner stabbed an individual eating in a restaurant, an individual who had been in a crash and somebody in a tent at a homeless camp, amongst others, on Sunday, Feb. 13, KOB reported. Two have been hospitalized in vital situation.

The collection of seven assaults started in downtown Albuquerque and stretched 6 miles down Central Avenue to Wyoming Boulevard, police reported on Twitter.

“The offender was reported to be using a small BMX bike, and armed with a big knife,” Gallegos instructed The Albuquerque Journal. The assaults stretched from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Police arrested Tobias Gutierrez, 42, on prices of aggravated battery with a lethal weapon, KOB reported.

After a number of earlier stabbing experiences, officers had responded to extra assaults at a Circle Ok comfort retailer after they obtained one other report of a stabbing close by, the place they made the arrest, The Albuquerque Journal reported.
