A Colerain, Ohio, police officer not too long ago earned the nickname “Tom Brady” from native youngsters after stopping to play soccer with them.

The nameless officer took the time to play with the kids after responding to a name a few hit-skip car crash in Northbrook. After serving to clear the scene, he approached a gaggle of 12 youngsters and requested if he may play some ball with them.

The surveillance video, which went viral quickly after, confirmed the officer taking part in as quarterback with the youngsters.

12-year-old Alyssa Jackson McCoy was one of many gamers.

“I assumed he was going to ask us some questions, like, ‘Do you know what occurred or something?’ However no, he simply got here alongside and performed. I used to be like, ‘Wow, he’s truly fairly good!’”

Colerain Public Data Officer Jim Love mentioned the youngsters even gave the officer a nickname.

“They referred to him as Tom Brady. He grew to become the quarterback for them and performed with them for some time,” Love mentioned.

Love added that officers generally don’t have time to work together with the group on account of getting calls, however this time was totally different.

McCoy mentioned the officer left a constructive impression.
