Throughout the three commencement ceremonies held this week (25th and 26th October) to mark the milestone, the officers had been addressed by Assistant Chief Constable Matt Ward and Toni Lengthy, Director of Individuals and Organisational Improvement, each of West Midlands Police, in addition to Superintendent Mark Runacres of Avon & Somerset Police and Police Now’s CEO, Kurtis Christoforides.
Addressing the nationwide cohort, Assistant Chief Constable Matt Ward, mentioned: “It’s a real pleasure and privilege to congratulate you all in your Police Now commencement immediately.
“You mirror one of the best of UK policing. Be happy with the place you’re and what you’ve achieved. Proceed to be the leaders that you simply’ve already demonstrated you’re. Deal with everybody pretty, act with integrity and be ready to face up and at all times do the proper factor.
“Always remember why you joined policing and the satisfaction you felt while you put in your uniform on day one. Always remember the satisfaction you rightly really feel immediately as you graduate as substantive officers. I’ll watch your careers with pleasure, satisfaction and curiosity over the approaching years, congratulations.”
