The Polish Ministry of Defence has introduced plans to acquire 96 Boeing AH-64E Apache assault helicopters as a part of efforts to modernise its armed forces.

The transfer is a part of Poland’s Kruk programme that goals to amass a brand new assault helicopter fleet.

It was disclosed by Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Nationwide Defence Mariusz Błaszczak throughout a bilateral assembly with US Protection Secretary Lloyd J Austin.

In response to Błaszczak, Poland has submitted a request for a proposal for the Apache helicopters.
